One of a pair of adjacent holiday houses on the Vendee coast, La Braie N°1 offers lovely family accommodation near to the beach and the town amenities of Notre Dame de Monts. The area is ideal for cycling, with the beach at 1 mile (1.7km) through the forest trails, the town centre with shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants at 3/4 mile (1.2km). Cycle hire available locally, or get them delivered from Bike Hire Direct.
Can be rented with La Braie N°2 for larger groups, up to 18.
The house features an attractive modern interior with a charming living area, two bedrooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor. The first floor double bedroom opens onto a secluded roof terrace seating area. Outside there is a lovely deck area with an awning for shade, leading on to the garden with its private heated plunge pool. It also has a further bar room accessible from outside (with shower room and toilet).
Notre Dame de Monts offers 3 miles (4.6km) of golden sands, backing onto the immense pine forests, and just inland the salt marshes provide a beautiful countryside experience, cycling along the quiet lanes (accessible directly from La Braie). You will find a water sports centre (canoes, stand-up, wind surfing, catamarans and land yachts) and also a fascinating park on the theme of the wind and a nature discovery centre. It's just 6 miles (10km) to the town of St Jean de Monts, offering golf , boat trips to the island of Yeu, and some more fabulous beaches. 6 miles (10km) to the north takes you across the bridge onto the island of Noirmoutier.

Exterior : Fully enclosed courtyard garden. Deck with dining furniture and awning. 'Plancha' griddle. Private heated plunge pool (5m x 3.5m, depth 1.10m with gated access steps). Sun-loungers. 'Bar' room with further shower room and toilet. Off-road parking for 2 cars.
Includes: Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large fridge/freezer,TV. Sheets and towels included. Wi-Fi internet (access charged).

Reduced mobility : No steps, ground floor double or twin, shower is walk-in.
