La Chauvetterie is situated on a rural lane, near the the town of Lucon, offering a lovely countryside setting, yet just a short drive to the town amenities and around half an hour to the coast at La Faute sur Mer.
The spacious accommodation is well equipped and includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside, the lovely secluded garden has a covered dining space for outside meals, a fenced swimming pool area and there is a lawn area for children's games.
Ideal for family holidays, with the vast sandy beaches of the south Vendee coast near at hand. There is a convenient hypermarket at just 5 minutes and also a nearby restaurant at a mile and a half, together with a bowling alley and bar.
Situated on a rural lane with meadows bordered by trees, offering lovely evening strolls. There is an open view from the house over sunflowers or cornfields. The nearby town of Lucon (4 miles) offers a pleasant town centre around the cathedral and the municipal gardens, along with a good choice of restaurants. There are forest trails to explore at St Gemme la Plaine (3 miles). The house is also within easy reach of the historic town of Fontenay le Comte, the Mervent forest, Green Venice and Le Puy du Fou theme park, as well as many holiday activities and attractions of the south Vendee.
