Select Villas
Albizia is one of the charming villas on this family-friendly holiday development on the Vendee coast, near to the popular resort town of Les Sables d'Olonne. It's a calm select site, ideal for the children, offering you great additional facilities ; tennis, basket-ball, table tennis, giant chess and cycle hire. On site there is also a good restaurant, rated "Excellent" on Trip Advisor. The nearest beach of Le Tanchet is at just over a mile (2.5km) and the town centre, with its sea-front beach is at just over 3 miles (5km). You can pre-book cycle hire for your stay, making it really easy to get around. An ideal location for exploring the south-west Vendee and with loads of family holiday activities and places to visit nearby (see the local information section below).

Accommodation comprises :
A comfortable, villa with its own garden, dining terrace and private heated pool. Living / dining room, including TV (may have some international channels). WiFi Internet. Well equipped kitchen (including hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster).
All on the ground floor -
3 bedrooms ; double bedroom, twin/double bedroom, twin bedroom or bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom or shower room, separate toilet.
"Double beds" are usually two 80cm beds side by side. Single beds are 80cm wide. Bathrooms may have a shower or a bath with shower attachment.
Private garden, private pool (typically 7m x 4m, depth 1.4m), with entrance steps and safety alarm (some villas may have a pool fence or a sliding enclosure). Garden dining furniture, 2 sun loungers. A covered dining terrace, or an awning, or a parasol for shade. A barbecue may be provided at some villas. 1 parking space adjacent to the villa (other parking spaces on the site).
There is a helpful management team on site, speaking English, French, Dutch and German.
Baby equipment available for hire.
Pets are accepted with an additional charge.
The private pool is open from April to the end of September. Pool heating is included for 27/4 to 30/9 and available as an option at €25 per day for other dates (requested at the time of booking). This may be subject to weather conditions in early and late season, with no garantie of temperature.
Some villas are available suitable for reduced mobility or wheelchair users - please enquire.
Start days other than Saturday and non-standard durations are possible outside 6/7 to 30/8.

On a calm residential site
Ideally situated in the south Vendee, near to Les Sables d'Olonne. On site you will find an excellent restaurant as well as a convenient bar with snacks and bread shop (July and August). There are a couple of nice bar/restaurants at the sea (from 1 mile / 1.5km) and endless choice in the town of les Sables d'Olonne. The nearest supermarket is just over a mile (2.2km). The town offers a lively centre and a vast beach with children's activities (3 miles / 5km). There is also horse riding, a casino, a boating lake, a zoo, spa baths and night clubs. The nearest golf course is at 4 miles / 6km and there are several others in the nearby area.

"Fabulous first family holiday. Clean, tidy and spacious villa with own pool, our villa was not overlooked by other properties. Three good-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), and very spacious living/dining/kitchen area. We went with two very small children and the villa layout worked well for us. The pool is perfectly adequate for cooling off and playing with plenty of inflatables! The reception area has a small shop, where you can buy essential food provisions, and the nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive away. Oasis Les Jardins is an attractive setting, about a 10-minute walk from the coast. There are flat, sandy beaches slightly further up the coast towards Les Sables d’Olonne, which are accessible via about a 30-minute walk, or a 10-minute bike ride. Lots of bike paths everywhere, the area is very well setup for cycling! We drove down and took bikes and bike trailers with us in the van, but you can hire bikes/trailers etc from the reception. We’re certainly keen to return again, it’s a 670km drive from the Eurotunnel, but in our experience the French motorways are quiet and you can make good progress. We drove from Oasis Les Jardins back to Bristol with two under 3-year-olds in 1 day, so it’s doable. Thanks for the happy memories!" Richard W 2022
