There are also special events for the children during high season. At the welcome centre, the staff are always on hand to offer help and advice and speak several languages.
You can also hire bicycles for all ages, by day or by week - an ideal way of getting around. The nearby beach of Le Tanchet is only just over a mile away (2.5km), offering lovely sand, safe bathing and a water sports centre (equipment hire and tuition). You can also easily cycle along the sea-front cycle path to the town centre of Les Sables d'Olonne (3 miles / 5km) for great shopping, endless restaurants, night life and lots to see and do.
